Celebrating Mardi Gras in the Big Easy
Rex is one of the most iconic and oldest Krewes to parade through New Orleans with their motto of “Pro Bono Publico - for the Public Good.” Since 1872, they’ve paved the way for the most of New Orlean’s iconic Mardi Gras traditions and symbols including the iconic green, gold, and purple colors, throwing of doubloons, and wearing masks. Their themes center around mythology, ancient kingdoms, and Louisiana.
