Stepping through the wild and beautiful side of Nevis
Part of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean Sea, Nevis is the smaller of the two islands that make up the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis. The native Kalinago people named Nevis, Oualie or “land of beautiful waters.”
Nevis was famous for its sugar plantatons, the reminants of which still litter the island.
